About This Project
Based in New Orleans, LA for 300 years - the Gulf Arcana Authority is an invite-only organization that deals with occult phenomena such as vampires, devils, interdimensional beings and also nutria (Myocastor coypus). The North American chapter of the GAA have been allowed and sanctioned by the City of New Orleans since 1718 and predate the United States of America by 58 years. The organization has a storied history in both Europe and Central Asia as well (as a chapter of the larger Trans‑Eurasian Occult Commission) and also operates a large prison underneath Lake Pontchartrain that runs the length of the Causeway bridge.
Threadcaster Characters
The Loreweave Threadcaster builds reusable cast cards from identity, Jungian motive, Tarot arc pressure, psychology, backstory, and relationships. Lorekeepers add their own characters directly to canon; contributors can submit characters for review.
No Threadcaster characters have been added yet. Start with a name, then add archetypes, Tarot cards, conflicts, and relationships when the cast is ready.
World Details
Scope: The scope of the GAA is within the gulf south region of the continental United States. Contributors: Participation is open to all. Hard facts in the New Orleans chapter must be based on New Orleans geography and demographics - but previous history on the European and Central Asia chapters is open to all. A forum thread will be started if anyone is looking to coordinate on this. Timeline: Timeline is in process of build-out. Check back frequently for updates.
