About Loreweave
Loreweave is a free, community-driven platform for collaborative storytelling. Think of it as a shared creative space where strangers can build entire fictional universes together — anonymously, openly, and thoughtfully.
What is this?
Loreweave lets anyone create a collaborative fiction project — a shared story world that others can contribute to. Each project has two sides: Stories for narrative contributions, and a Canon Wiki for collecting world lore, character bios, rules, and history. Together, they form a living, breathing fictional universe maintained by its community.
Why anonymous?
Anonymity lowers the barrier to participation. You don't need an account, a profile, or a reputation. Your ideas stand on their own merit. When you contribute, you're given a randomly generated alias — something like Crimson Weaver or Twilight Bard — which persists in your browser so your contributions stay associated.
Community guidelines
- 1.Be creative, be respectful. This is a space for imagination and collaboration, not conflict.
- 2.Contribute to the shared vision. Read the existing stories and wiki before adding your own. Build on what's there.
- 3.Respect established canon. Use the wiki as your guide. If you want to change something fundamental, discuss it in the comments first.
- 4.Quality over quantity. A single thoughtful paragraph is worth more than a rushed page.
- 5.Anonymous doesn't mean unaccountable. Your alias follows you. Build a reputation through the quality of your contributions.
