C‑34 is an alternate timeline where a global catastrophe in 2012 nearly destroys Earth. A large piece of the Moon fell off and crashed into Earth. Billions died. The entire idea of this project is that there should be time slips, where characters in C-34 remember our timeline here in 2026. It should confuse them and slowly each of them realizes that they are in the doomed world - they exist in the world that died. They should make the best of it in their fractured communities - underground ones, towns reclaimed by nature, etc. A continent-sized wound. Gravity is weaker near the center. Rocks float. Birds avoid it. People who live near the Scar experience the strongest cross‑timeline bleedthrough — sometimes full conversations with people from our world. Sometimes, they even come through. Some believe the Scar is a doorway. Others believe it’s a grave. Underground Havens Old subway systems, mining tunnels, and Cold War bunkers turned into thriving subterranean cities. Hydroponics glow green in the dark Water is filtered through ancient rock Communities are rigid, rule-bound, and suspicious of outsiders Time slips are rare underground — which makes them terrifying when they happen These havens are the closest thing to “civilization” left.
