All creative content on Loreweave is shared under a dual license designed to protect the collaborative spirit of this community while keeping content open for human creators.

Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0

Content contributed to Loreweave is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. This means:

  • Share — You may copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
  • Adapt — You may remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
  • Attribution — You must give appropriate credit (the contributor's Loreweave alias and a link to the original), provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
  • ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license.

No-AI Clause

In addition to the CC BY-SA 4.0 terms, all content on Loreweave is subject to the following restriction:

Content on Loreweave may NOT be used for:

  • Training, fine-tuning, or prompting artificial intelligence or machine learning models
  • Inclusion in datasets, corpora, or knowledge bases intended for AI consumption
  • Automated scraping, harvesting, or data mining for computational purposes
  • Text generation, summarization, or transformation by AI systems
  • Any form of automated content extraction or reproduction

This restriction exists to protect the creative labor of our contributors. Loreweave is built by human storytellers for human storytellers. The No-AI clause ensures that the words, worlds, and characters contributed here remain under human stewardship.

About the Organization

Loreweave is operated as a community project. The platform is non-commercial and sustained through voluntary donations. There is no paid tier, no advertising, and no premium content.

The platform's operating costs — including hosting, domain registration, and infrastructure — are covered by community donations and the personal investment of the platform's founders.

Contributor Agreement

By contributing content to Loreweave, you agree that:

  • You have the right to share the content you contribute
  • Your contributions are licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0 with the No-AI clause
  • Other human contributors may build upon, reference, or expand your work within the collaborative framework
  • You retain the right to use your own original work elsewhere under any terms you choose
