The founders of your world buried something so that it would be forgotten. It has not been forgotten. Write the night it starts digging its way back up.

The Signal Returns

A transmission that went silent generations ago begins broadcasting again — from a place where nothing living remains. Write who hears it, and what it wants them to do.

The House Remembers

An estate has outlived every family that ever owned it. Write the arrival of the newest owner and the first thing the house shows them that it should not know.

The Thin Place

There is a spot in your world where the veil between the living and the dead wore through. Write what crosses over, and who is waiting on the other side.

The Wrong Geometry

A street, a room, or a coastline in your setting does not obey the rules the rest of the world follows. Write the first person to notice — and to understand too late.

The Last Light

Something is putting out the lights of your world one by one — stars, hearths, or hopes. Write the story of the people gathered around the final flame.

The Quarantine

Somewhere in your setting is a place no one is allowed to enter. Document it as a wiki entry: what is sealed inside, who guards the door, and what happens to those who ignore the warning?

The Rites

A community in your world performs a ritual they no longer remember the reason for. Build the lore of the rite, the cost of skipping it, and the year someone finally did.

The Deep Survey

Explorers charted the edges of the unknown in your setting and came back changed — or did not come back at all. Create the record of what they found before the transmissions stopped.

The Haunt

Build a single haunted place — a ship, a ward, a stretch of road. Who died here, who still walks it, and what is the one thing that makes it worse?

The Aberration

Something in your world breaks the rules that govern everything else and has never been explained. Document it: what it does, who studies it, and why every attempt to destroy it has failed.

The Vanishing

A place in your setting is slowly being erased — from maps, from memory, from existence. Describe it while there is still something left to describe.

The One Who Hears It

A person who perceives something no one else can — a sound, a figure, a warning. Are they cursed, chosen, or simply the first to notice?

The Keeper of the Seal

Someone whose entire purpose is to make sure a door stays closed. What is behind it, and what would it take for them to open it?

The Survivor

The only one who walked out of the place where everyone else was lost. What do they refuse to talk about, and what followed them home?

The Thing Wearing a Face

Something that is not human has learned to pass as one. Write it from the inside: what does it want, and how close is anyone to realizing?
