Project scale guide

Scale describes where a project sits in the world tree. Larger scales hold context; smaller scales hold focused places where stories and canon can become more specific.

RegionA defined area within a Continent — a kingdom, province, territory, or biome. Regions contain Cities and work well for stories focused on political boundaries, cultural groups, or distinct geographic areas.

To move a smaller world under a larger one, use Nest a Project. Stories and wiki entries remain with their project, and parent pages include content from nested projects.

About This Project

The Hidden Valley is exactly what is says on the tin. High in the Alps lies a forgotten world. Forgotten that is except in the fevered imaginations of fans of twee bubblegum Swiss children's literature. In the shadow of the iconic mountain, Das Tobthorn, lies a paradise of lush meadows and summer pasture, accessible to only a lucky few. Take the rickety old rack railway up and up until it miraculously passes through the Tobthorn glacier and emerges into the valley. Meet all your favourite characters: The Grandmother - toothlessly sucking on stale rolls pilfered from the big house in the distant unspecified city, that's somehow both a terribly long way away from the valley and yet also close enough to visit every bloody week with rolls. Heidi - the little girl that was, who's suddenly all growed up. Goat Peter - the teenage Goatherd who when he's not counting his goats, watching over his goats or taking his goats up to or down from the high summer pastures, spends every spare waking moment pleasuring himself (sorry that should say playing by himself - can't find strike through) waiting for Heidi to make one of her seemingly all too regular trips back to the valley. and many others..... including some goats. and a talking Edelweiss. Maybe even an Alpaca, if you're lucky.

Threadcaster Characters

The Loreweave Threadcaster builds reusable cast cards from identity, Jungian motive, Tarot arc pressure, psychology, backstory, and relationships. Lorekeepers add their own characters directly to canon; contributors can submit characters for review.

No Threadcaster characters have been added yet. Start with a name, then add archetypes, Tarot cards, conflicts, and relationships when the cast is ready.
