Project scale guide
Scale describes where a project sits in the world tree. Larger scales hold context; smaller scales hold focused places where stories and canon can become more specific.
To move a smaller world under a larger one, use Nest a Project. Stories and wiki entries remain with their project, and parent pages include content from nested projects.

About This Project
In the year 797 AE, humankind was once again threatened with the certainty of extinction. And they once again managed to persist. Earth was a distant memory; a long-forgotten dead planet in an old, dying star system. Few humans had been fortunate enough to escape Earth before the cataclysm, but those that were able fled to Oranius, seeking sanctuary with the Oranians who had promised them a place there. Though humans were forbade from any government positions or high ranking council, the Oranians made good on their promise, and the two species lived amicably together for centuries. In those nearly 800 years, the human population flourished once more, and grew to be nearly equal to that of the Oranians. The veil of peace shattered in 796 AE, when it was discovered that Oranius' gravitational force had been gradually increasing, pulling one of its moons, Bistok'qa, slowly closer. Within the next year it would be pulled out of orbit and into Oranius, shattering both masses into pieces. The Oranian council fled, creating a substation far outside orbit where they would safely stay until the dust settled on their planet. The humans and the remaining Oranians left behind fell into civil unrest, with the New Oranian Council still refusing humans a space in their ranks. Humanity, having centuries ago lost their original world, felt that they should have a voice in how to survive a second potential extinction. They elected one of their own, Augustus Parr, as their leader. Most of humankind sought shelter underground, led by Parr. Some broke off, disagreeing with Parrs us-or-them mentality, and stayed with the Oranian civilians above ground. Tensions rose after the Shattering, when most of the casualties were the Oranians themselves, who the Council had failed to protect. The remaining civilians have mostly turned against the council, Old and New, but the human leader Parr has barred them from the Underground. And now a third player, the Bisk'q, have joined the fray. Holding no allegiance to either side, will this new player bring peace, or lead them all to annihilation?
Threadcaster Characters
The Loreweave Threadcaster builds reusable cast cards from identity, Jungian motive, Tarot arc pressure, psychology, backstory, and relationships. Lorekeepers add their own characters directly to canon; contributors can submit characters for review.
No Threadcaster characters have been added yet. Start with a name, then add archetypes, Tarot cards, conflicts, and relationships when the cast is ready.
