Project scale guide

Scale describes where a project sits in the world tree. Larger scales hold context; smaller scales hold focused places where stories and canon can become more specific.

GalaxyA vast collection of star systems, civilizations, and interstellar space. A Galaxy exists within a Universe and contains Worlds. Best for space opera settings or stories that span many planets but share a common galactic context.

To move a smaller world under a larger one, use Nest a Project. Stories and wiki entries remain with their project, and parent pages include content from nested projects.

About This Project

Welcome to the far-flung future of the Milky Way Galaxy! The Galaxy is vast and terrifying. Trillions of celestial bodies spiral around in the void of an uncaring universe. An unknowable number of lives are born and die in the blink of an eye, but life must still go on. Mankind has reached past our own little solar system and joined the galactic community. What we first thought would be an enlightening experience, would soon reveal that no one has a clue what's really going on and that the "Human Condition" might not be that exclusive. While a Gor-Ru warlord plans for galactic dominance, a cinema heiress still needs to plan for the gala. Society has expanded; science has pushed the boundaries, and someone will still need their dinner delivered to them from the most exquisite diner they've been to from two Solar Systems over. The only law that truly exists is this: Logistics is a bitch and everyone has their own answer for it. Jump into your star fighter, load up in your galactic trawler, or lounge in the star line cruiser, because there are countless tragedies and comedies out there.

D&D HomebrewCharacters in this world can have optional D&D-style stat blocks — ability scores, classes, equipment, and custom homebrew fields.

Threadcaster Characters

The Loreweave Threadcaster builds reusable cast cards from identity, Jungian motive, Tarot arc pressure, psychology, backstory, and relationships. Lorekeepers add their own characters directly to canon; contributors can submit characters for review.

No Threadcaster characters have been added yet. Start with a name, then add archetypes, Tarot cards, conflicts, and relationships when the cast is ready.
