Description
The Glass Choir is an order of trained witnesses who preserve treaty memory by singing legal phrases into warm emberglass. They are not judges, but courts collapse when they refuse to sing.
Duties
- Witness royal oaths.
- Translate old treaty language.
- Identify malformed legal questions.
- Maintain the Hall of Warm Panes.
Limits
The Choir cannot volunteer certain secrets. A question must be shaped correctly before the emberglass permits a full answer.
Story Uses
Use the Choir when a scene needs ritual pressure, public accountability, or a character who knows more than they are allowed to say.
