Overview
The Third Cup is a Dawn Archive ritual used when testimony comes from a source that is neither legally alive nor fully memorialized. Archivists pour tea for the living, the dead, and the uncertain witness.
Interpretations
- Steam means the archive is still receiving uncertain testimony.
- Cooling means the witness has become certain of a fact not yet admitted.
- An untouched cup may become evidence in route disputes.
